Mills honored


Earlier this month, SourcePoint volunteer Thomas Mills was presented with the Platinum Award at Medical Mutual’s Central Ohio Outstanding Senior Volunteer Awards Banquet. The annual banquet honors those individuals from throughout central Ohio who provide their community with extraordinary volunteer service. Mills, a U.S. Navy veteran, volunteers for SourcePoint’s Meals on Wheels program and has delivered nearly 13,500 meals to homebound seniors over the past nine years. He also serves as captain of the Delaware County Veterans’ Association Honor Guard. The Platinum Award is the highest honor awarded at the central Ohio banquet. Mills will also be considered for Medical Mutual’s Volunteer of the Year award at the statewide banquet next month. He is pictured above with SourcePoint staff member Jill Smith, who nominated him.
