Meyer named next superintendent of Olentangy Schools


Todd Meyer has been selected by the Olentangy Local School District to serve as its next superintendent following the retirement of Mark Raiff this summer. Meyer’s hire was approved by the Olentangy Schools Board of Education during a special meeting on Monday, and he will begin the role on June 1 while Raiff continues in an advisory capacity until July 31.

Lorenz appointed to seat in Ohio House


Following state Rep. Kris Jordan’s sudden passing in February, Brian Lorenz has been tabbed to fulfill the unexpired term for the 60th District seat in the Ohio House of Representatives.

Hayes seniors get big send-off


On Thursday afternoon, students at Hayes High School cheered on and said “goodbye” to the class of 2023 as seniors completed their last day and did their traditional walk around the track at Cornell Stadium.

New youth center to be unveiled


Delaware Christian Church will be celebrating the grand opening of its new youth center building, located at 2280 W. William St., from 4-8 p.m. Saturday. The free community event will feature a variety of entertainment options, including inflatables, axe throwing, games, food, and a special worship/devotion at 6 p.m.
