Delaware police report:

A Samsung tablet was stolen from a 10-year-old who lives on Trotter’s Circle Tuesday afternoon.

Jewelry worth $1,150 and $630 in cash were stolen from a home on Curtis Street Tuesday afternoon. Police have no suspects.

A man was seen removing objects from an unlocked car on North Franklin Street Tuesday afternoon. Police arrived minutes later and found a man matching the description given by the caller. The man admitted the incident and was found to have stolen property in his possession. He was arrested and charged with theft.

Kohl’s department store stopped two juvenile shoplifters Tuesday night. Officers spoke to the store’s loss-prevention agent and two juveniles. The agent told police one of the juveniles took a necklace, hid it and attempted to leave the store without paying. The youth was stopped by the loss-prevention agent and admitted the incident. Both teens were released to their parents and charges of theft and complicity to commit theft will be forwarded to the Delaware County Juvenile Court.
