Delaware County Commissioner Jeff Benton, left, was sworn into office Tuesday by Delaware County Common Pleas Judge Dave Hejmanowski, right. Benton was selected last month by the Delaware County Republican Party central committee to replace former Commissioner Ken O’Brien, who resigned in June due to changes to the state’s public employee retirement system.
