Delaware police report:

Sisters were fighting at a home on Curtis Street Wednesday night. Officers arrived and found a 23-year-old with blood coming from her face. She told police that she and her sister had been arguing about children’s clothes and her sister punched her in the face. The sister was arrested and charged with domestic violence, assault and disorderly conduct before being taken to the Delaware County Jail.

Officers responded to a home on in the 200 block of West Central Avenue Tuesday night on the report of domestic dispute. When they arrived, they could hear noise and loud talking coming from the interior of the apartment. When the residents answered the door, officers learned that there had been no fight. Police say the couple was simply talking loudly. Police asked them to lower their voices and they left. However, hours later, they returned to the home on another report of a fight. Once again, there had been no fight but only loud discussions. A resident was cited for permitting noise.

A woman reported Tuesday that someone used her 7-year-old son’s Social Security number to receive benefits. Police are investigating.

A couple was fighting Tuesday night at their Fern Drive apartment. When police arrived, each person claimed they were assaulted by the other, but both declined to pursue charges.

A bike was stolen from outside the Delaware County District Library Wednesday evening. The owner told police the bike was worth $100.
