Montrell Teague guided George Teague Jr.’s Miss Me Yet to a 6 ¾ length victory in the $107,433 (div.) Ohio Breeders Championship for two-year-old filly pacers in a stakes record 1:55 during Sunday action at the Delaware County Fairgrounds.

The Teague’s will send out the favorite, Wiggle It Jiggleit in Thursday’s Little Brown Jug presented by Fazoli’s.

The Ohio Sires Stake champion, Miss Me Yet used post position (No. 2) to control the fractions and the field of seven. She opened up at the top of the homestretch and sprinted away from My Tweed Heart (Ronnie Wrenn, Jr.) and It’s Your Fantasy (Josh Sutton) to establish the new stakes mark.

The daughter of I’m Gorgeous has now won four of seven seasonal starts and has earned $189,205.

Big Bad Ashley and Josh Sutton survived a three way photo finish to capture the second $35,811 division over Queen Ann M (Chris Page) and Wiggler (Ryan Stahl) in 1:57.

Winchester Baye Acres owns the daughter of the 2011 LBJ champ Big Bad John.

The first division was captured by John’s Sunny Girl and driver Greg Grismore by three quarters of a length in 1:55 3/5. Big Bad Chickie (Ronnie Wrenn, Jr.) and John’s Jessi Bird (Chris Page) completed the trifecta.

Delaware also hosted a trio of amateur driving events, the USTA’s Standardbred Driving Championship and two Billings series events.

Luke Varnum representing the Maine Amateur Driving Club was parked out the entire mile, but the gritty Northern River still had gas in the tank to score in 1:57 4/5. The event features drivers from nine driving clubs from across the United States.

The Billings Amateur Trot events were won by Heza Rube (Bob Troyer) and Rush N Supreme (Mitchell Walker). The win was Troyer’s fifth in the Billings series at the Delaware County Fair.
