Delaware police report:

A Delaware man has been arrested and charged with gross sexual imposition stemming from an incident Thursday. Officers arrested Sylvester W. Grames, 66, after an officer was dispatched to 2200 Bruce Road, Delaware, to check the well-being of a juvenile. When the officer arrived, he was informed that Grames had allegedly engaged in inappropriate contact with the child. Grames was arraigned Friday in Delaware Municipal Court. Bond was set at $50,000. He is currently lodged in the county jail. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23.

A case of criminal simulation was reported Thursday. Officers responded to a call from the United Dairy Farmers store at 123 W. William St. where they were informed that a fraudulent $20 bill had been passed there. Police have not identified any suspects in the case and an investigation is ongoing.
