SourcePoint honors volunteers

SourcePoint celebrated National Volunteer Week with an appreciation dinner for volunteers on April 19 at the Medallion Club in Westerville. Generously sponsored by Greif, Inc., more than 280 volunteers gathered for a dinner buffet and program recognizing the dedication, service, and continued growth of the organization’s dynamic pool of volunteers.

The keynote speaker, SourcePoint CEO Fara Waugh, expressed gratitude for the hundreds of volunteers who have impacted thousands of local older adults with their contributions of time and talent.

“Last year alone, 643 volunteers contributed over 48,000 hours of their time,” said Waugh. “The fruits of your labor make a substantial impact in our community, and I am especially touched by the kindness and care behind your choice to volunteer with SourcePoint.”
