A Delaware County grand jury has indicted a Columbus couple in connection with alleged credit card fraud.
Anthony Christian, 34, and his wife, Tereka Christian, 27, both of 2512 Bethesda Ave., Columbus, were indicted Friday by a grand jury. The couple allegedly used a stolen credit card on Sept. 14.
“The credit cards were reported missing after a patron visited the Westerville Athletic Center and left his wallet in a locker,” said Delaware County Prosecutor Carol O’Brien. “Mr. Christian is seen on the center’s surveillance video entering and leaving the locker room.”
Prosecutors say the couple is visible on several surveillance cameras from various central Ohio retail stores.
Anthony Christian is charged with burglary, a third-degree felony; theft, a fifth-degree felony; identity fraud, a fifth-degree felony; and misuse of credit cards, a first-degree misdemeanor.
Tereka Christian is charged with receiving stolen property, a fifth-degree felony; identity fraud, a fourth-degree felony; and misuse of credit cards, a fifth-degree felony.
Arraignments for the couple have not yet been scheduled in Delaware County Common Pleas Court.
