St. Mark’s in Delaware to live-stream Sunday service

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Delaware will begin live-streaming its 10:30 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Nov. 1.

This service will be available from the church website — — or anytime through the week on YouTube.

Live-streaming video will be in addition to the live television broadcast via Time Warner public access channels 21 or 96-104, also at 10:30 a.m. every Sunday. It is rebroadcast on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m.

The 10:30 a.m. service is also broadcast live on the radio at 98.5 FM.

The addition of live-streaming is to keep pace with today’s fast-paced lifestyle, according to church officials, allowing viewers to watch on their schedules, using their favorite devices.

It also will allow former Delaware residents to stay active with and in touch with the church, church officials say.

The live-streaming will begin on All Saints Day, a significant day on the Lutheran church calendar.

St. Mark’s Lutheran Church is at 28 E. William St. Sunday traditional service is at 8:30 a.m. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. A blended service — traditional and contemporary — with live music begins at 10:30 a.m.

The Rev. Jennell Rue is pastor.

St. Mark’s is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America.
