SUM Players’ 11th season features 3 one-acts plays

Sunbury United Methodist Church’s SUM Players are currently in rehearsal for this year’s dinner theater production, this year with a twist.

The fellowship’s troupe is preparing three one-act plays for its annual offering.

In rehearsal are “The Great Nursing Home Escape,” “School Portrait Monologues” and “Five Ex-Wives in ICU,” all under the direction of Nancy Meyer.

Performances are Friday, April 29, and Saturday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. Dinner and show cost $20. A 2 p.m. matinee Sunday, May 1, will cost $10.

To reserve tickets, call Phyllis Taylor at 740-965-3293. Walk-ins will be accepted at the Sunday matinee.
