Clarence and Peggy Fraley of Ashley are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this week.
An open house is planned from 1 to 5 p.m. May 22 at the Oxford Township Hall on Shoemaker Road in Ashley. The family requests no gifts.
Clarence Fraley and Peggy Harter were married on May 12, 1956, in New California, Ohio, by the Rev. John Vance.
Their children are Cinda Strohl, Melinda Smith, Tom Fraley, Scott Fraley and the late Steve Fraley. They also have 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Clarence is now retired from working for Northern Ohio Phone Co. for 12 years; starting and running his own business (Associated Trenching & Excavation, from 1969 to 2000); and serving in the Army Reserves for 10 years.
Peggy was a homemaker.
