On April 15, Alayna Boyer, a candidate for the Big Walnut Area Historical Society scholarship, will make a brief presentation at 7 p.m. prior to the regularly scheduled program. All are invited to meet her and hear her presentation.

Following Boyer, Van Young will present “The Titanic — What You Do and Don’t Know!” during the society’s April meeting in the Myers Inn Museum at the corner of Columbus and Granville streets in Sunbury.

Young is a popular presenter at the Myers Inn. His research on historic events are well researched then presented in an entertaining way to make the audience think. One can be sure to learn new facts about this event, which happened 111 years ago on this date in 1912.

Myers Inn Museum is in a former stage coach inn and features local history from the Big Walnut area. It is open 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays or by appointment by calling 740-965-3583. Please leave a name and number so a return call can be made.
