The Olentangy Orange softball team scored all the runs it would need in the top of the first inning and ace Gauri Naik took care of the rest, tossing a two-hit shutout on the way to a 2-0 OCC-Central Division win Monday night in Powell.

Sophomore midfielder Sam Frary scored to kick off a 6-1 run that broke a 5-5 tie and sent the Ohio Wesleyan women’s lacrosse team on its way to a 14-8 North Coast Athletic Conference win over Oberlin on Wednesday in Oberlin.

The Big Walnut baseball team continued its red-hot start to the season Wednesday, blanking host Westerville South 9-0 thanks in part to four first-inning runs and a complete-game, two-hit shutout from Nick Weiss on the mound.
